Homework #2 - Semester 2

Homework #2 - Your homework over the break is the following:

In your text read pages 376 - 392.

On page 382 answer #1 (Andrew Johnson, Reconstruction, Radical Republicans, Freedmen's Bureau, Black Codes, 14th Amendment, 15th Amendment) and #3 and #4.

On page 392 answer #  (scalawag, carpetbagger, sharecropping, tenant farmer) and #3, #4 and #5.

Work is due Monday when we return - for work completed online use the attached Google Document on the Google Classroom site for this class.

Presentation Reminders

If you did not complete a project draft - you MUST submit one by Thursday - you will not be allowed to present, and your grade will suffer without submission of a prior draft.

Presentations will be conducted as follows on Monday, January 11 and Tuesday January 12.

Monday - 1/11 - Dorothea Dix, Horace Mann, William Lloyd Garrison, Frederick Douglass
Tuesday - 1/12 - Harriet Tubman, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott

Do not be absent. Make up presentations are not permitted.

The Monroe Doctrine
The American System
Causes of the Industrial Revolution in America

For homework this week you will be reading pages 202 - 205 and 212 - 218 in your text book.
On page 205 answer questions #2, #3 and #5.
On page 218 answer questions #1 (all terms) and #4.

Remember, research for your project is due on Friday!
